How the CPN works
A CPN is a single score that combines your Matric percentage, your Intermediate percentage and your entry test score, each multiplied by a weight set by the university. The weights add up to 100, so the result is out of 100. Departments then admit students from the highest CPN downwards until their seats are full, which is why the closing CPN differs from one department and year to the next.
